Description
Erythromycin belongs to the group of macrolide antibiotics.Erythromycin acts bacteriostatically against Gram-positive bacteria and cocci and Gram-negative meningococcus.Erythromycin is active against the following micro-organisms:Bordetella pertussis,Cl.Perfrongens,Cl.Tetani,Pasteurella mulitcida,Staphylococci,Streptococci,Corynebacterium diphtheriae,C.Pyogenes,Diplococcus pneumoniae,Hemophilus influenzae,Neisseria meningitidis,Protozoa,Spirochetes and some Mycoplasmas.
